New live edge stone steps leading into Glen Lake have been installed in back of the Goffstown Parks and Recreation building. The steps were funded by the Granite State Health and Fitness Foundation/Glen Lake Swim event and will be used by swimmers, kayakers, paddle boarders and others all year long. The land abutting the water is the property of Eversource and the company kindly gave permission to the town to allow this improvement. Photographed left to right are: Edward 'Kelly' Merritt, Eversource Community Relations; Connor Jennings, Eversource Community Relations; Paul Bedard, Owner/Operator, Pawjer Construction and Earth Products; Rick Wilhelmi, Goffstown Director of Parks & Recreation; Gary Girolimon, Granite State Health and Fitness Foundation/Glen Lake Swim Director; and Phil Stonis, apprentice at Pawjer Construction and Earth Products.
