The start is in the water offshore of the Goffstown Recreation Center. Please enter the water with your assigned wave. The course is somewhat triangular in shape. Swimmers will head east roughly following the shore line, always keeping the course marker buoys to the left. At the powerlines, swimmers will turn 90˚ at the buoy and head north to the next buoy and then turn 90˚ left again for a straight-line return to the start. At the final buoy turn left 90˚ and exit the water crossing the timing sensor. Safety Kayaks will monitor swimmers from the interior of the triangle.
Two-mile swimmers will loop around the final buoy and head back out for a second lap.
Note: Glennie is shown beyond the powerlines near the dam. Glennie is often sighted in this area but roams freely in the lake.
