U.S. Masters Swimming is a national nonprofit that provides membership benefits to nearly 60,000 Masters swimmers across the country. USMS encourages adults to enjoy the health, fitness, and social benefits of swimming by providing more than 2,000 adult swimming programs and events across the country, including open water and pool competitions.
The Glen Lake Swim, like many other adult swimming events, is sanctioned by USMS. Participants need to be regular members of USMS or must pay a $20 one-event (OEVT) fee for insurance purposes. We’d like to encourage full membership which will avail you to all member benefits and allow you participate, without paying additional OEVT fees, in USMS swim events such as:
- The Charles River Swim
- Swim With a Mission
- The Glen Lake Swim
- MBCC Against The Tide
- And many other swims, meets, clinics and activities.
If you have already paid an OEVT fee for a 2024 event, you may be able to credit the payment towards full membership.
